QuickTrends Vellopaw Guardian

🐾 What is this product?

This is a GPS-based wireless containment system designed for dogs. It acts as a virtual fence without needing any buried wires or physical transmitters. The system consists of a GPS-enabled collar and a companion smartphone app that allows you to create and manage a safe zone for your pet.

⚙️ How does it work?

It works by using satellite GPS coordinates to create a virtual boundary. Here’s the process:

1. Set a Boundary: You use the app to draw a custom safe zone on a map of your property.
2. Track Your Dog: The collar receives GPS signals to track your dog's location relative to that boundary.
3. Warning & Correction: If your dog approaches the boundary, the collar emits a warning tone or vibration. If they continue past the limit, the collar delivers a mild static correction to deter them and encourage them to return to the safe zone.

The collar connects to your phone via Bluetooth, so it doesn't require a SIM card or cellular data plan, and there are no monthly subscription fees.🐕

🐕 Is it suitable for all cats?

This specific product, the PawGuard GPS Fence Pro, is primarily designed for dogs. Its features, such as the correction levels and collar size, are typically intended for medium to large breeds.

🔋 Does it require batteries?

Yes, the collar requires power. It features a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery and comes with a magnetic charging cable. The battery life is designed to last for several days on a single charge under typical use.

If you have any more questions about this system, feel free to ask.

🧼 How should I clean it?

• Remove the electronic module from the strap first, if it’s detachable.
• Strap: hand wash with mild soap and cool water. Rinse well and air dry completely.
• Electronic module: wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Don’t soak it, scrub it, or use harsh chemicals.
• Charging contacts: clean gently with a dry cotton swab. Make sure they’re completely dry before charging.
• Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or use bleach/alcohol/solvents.
• The ad says “waterproof,” but no IP rating is shown, so avoid prolonged submersion unless the manual specifically allows it.

🔋 How do I charge it safely?

• Use the included magnetic charging cable.
• Dry the collar and contacts completely before charging.
• Plug into a standard USB power source — avoid fast-charge bricks unless the manual says they’re supported.
• Don’t charge it while wet, and don’t leave it charging unattended for long periods.
• Unplug once fully charged. Avoid leaving it on the charger for days.
• Charge in a cool, dry place — not in direct sun or extreme heat.

📦 How should I store it?

• Remove it from your dog when not in use.
• Charge to about 50% before storing.
• Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
• Recharge every 3 months during long storage.
• Keep it away from dogs/children who might chew on it — the strap and module can be damaged.

🌳 Can it be used outdoors?

• Yes. It’s designed for outdoor GPS tracking and virtual fencing.
• It needs a clear view of the sky for reliable GPS.
• It’s advertised as waterproof and durable, but since no IP rating is given, avoid swimming, deep water, salt water, chlorine, and long soaking unless the manual confirms a specific waterproof rating.
• Dry it thoroughly after rain, mud, or accidental water contact.

• GPS collar.
• Charging cable.
• Setup guide.
• Everything you need.
